Cliff English serves as Head Coach for Arizona State Triathlon. English was appointed ASU's first women's triathlon head coach in October 2015 and built the foundation for the first NCAA Power Five women's triathlon program. He has led the Sun Devils to seven Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships, winning titles in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
English's background includes more than three decades as a high-performance triathlon coach and Olympic coaching experience at the 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Games. The ASU profile also notes College Triathlon Coaches Association Coach of the Year honors and recognition as USA Triathlon's collegiate coach of the year.
