CJ Easley joined the Auburn women’s golf program as an assistant coach in July 2024, returning to the Plains after competing collegiately for both Auburn and Ole Miss. A former Tiger student-athlete, Easley brings firsthand experience of SEC competition and a strong understanding of Auburn’s culture to his coaching role. He played three seasons at Auburn after arriving prior to the 2019-20 campaign, appearing in multiple tournaments and contributing during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons before transferring to Ole Miss to complete his final two years of eligibility.
Known for his academic and athletic balance, Easley was named an All-American Scholar, earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition twice, and was selected to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll in 2020. A native of Oxford, Mississippi, he was a decorated junior golfer, winning three state championships at Oxford High School and earning a top-40 national ranking in his class according to Golfweek. Easley’s familiarity with high-level collegiate golf and commitment to student-athlete development make him a valuable addition to head coach Melissa Luellen’s staff.
