Christian Mortellite is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Stockton University men’s basketball program. During his tenure, the Ospreys have recorded 36 victories and earned two NCAA Tournament appearances, continuing the program’s strong presence in NJAC and national competition. He competed in Portugal for two seasons, playing for Galitos Barreiro (2018–19) and Lusitania Expert (2019–20). As a collegiate standout at NCAA Division II Bloomsburg University from 2014–18, Mortellite set school records with 2,037 career points, 314 three-pointers, 441 free throws made, and an .887 free throw percentage. A three-time All-PSAC East First Team selection, he led the Huskies in scoring all four seasons and topped NCAA Division II in three-pointers per game in 2016–17. His high-level playing and professional experience add valuable insight to Stockton’s coaching staff.
