Chris Pospisil joined the Johns Hopkins swim coaching staff in August 2024, transitioning from the Eagle Swim Club in Baltimore, where he assisted at multiple levels including the National Team Training Group and Senior Performance Group. Before that, he held assistant coaching roles at Desert Mountain High School, the Scottsdale Aquatic Club in Arizona, the University of South Dakota, and College of Saint Mary. Pospisil earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Kinesiology and Sport Management from the University of South Dakota, where he swam from 2015 to 2019 and was a two-time team captain.
His varied coaching experience across club, high school, and collegiate settings has positioned him to contribute to both Hopkins’ men’s and women’s programs, focusing on athlete development, technique refinement, and performance at high levels.
