Chris O'Connor is the Volunteer Assistant Coach for Fordham University squash in Bronx, New York, joining the staff for the 2024-25 season. A Fordham graduate, he competed for both the tennis and squash teams from 1989 to 1993 under Hall of Fame coach Bob Hawthrown and captained the men's tennis team as a senior.
After college, O'Connor worked as an assistant tennis professional at Piping Rock Club and as an assistant squash professional at the University Club of New York from 1993 to 1996. He also became the squash professional at the Creek Club in 1994. In competition, he was the runner-up at the 2009 U.S. National 5.0 Squash Championship. He earned his degree in History from Fordham.
