Chris Morgan is the volunteer assistant swim coach for Boston College Swimming and Diving in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He joined Boston College after spending the previous 10 years leading a large New England swim team. Earlier in his career, he served as the women's assistant coach at Harvard and spent 15 years in Switzerland, where his responsibilities advanced from head club coach to national team staff member and head coach for multiple international championships, including the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Morgan began coaching in California from 1992 to 1997, working with club and high school programs, including his alma mater, Los Altos High School, and also coached at Stanford under Richard Quick. He earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis, and later completed an M.S. in Sports Science with an emphasis in Human Movement while in Switzerland. During the COVID pandemic, he also pursued a Ph.D. in Exercise Science. Morgan and his wife, Nok, live on the North Shore and enjoy canoeing and antique shopping.
