Chris McRae is the volunteer assistant coach for the University of Louisville men's tennis program in Louisville, Kentucky, joining the staff in October 2020.
A Louisville native, McRae came to Louisville after working with high-level junior players at Roddick's academy in Texas. Before moving into coaching, he played at the University of Alabama from 1999 to 2002 and served as a co-captain from 2000 through 2002. During his Alabama career, he helped the Crimson Tide earn several top-20 rankings, make three NCAA Tournament appearances, and reach the round of 16.
