Chris Littleman joined the University of Washington Beach Volleyball program as an Assistant Coach in the 2021-22 season, bringing over two decades of coaching experience and a professional playing background. Since joining, he has helped the Huskies achieve program milestones, including consecutive 20-win seasons, Top-20 national rankings, and the program’s first NCAA Championship appearance in 2024. Littleman contributed to key victories over ranked opponents and guided the team through significant roster transitions, including the 2025 season, where Washington captured the Queen’s Cup title in Honolulu while remaining a Top-20 team.
Littleman grew up in Renton, Washington, and played indoor collegiate volleyball at Golden West College, earning first-team all-conference honors twice. He competed professionally in beach volleyball across the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Turkey, and Spain. His coaching career began at Surf City Volleyball Club and included assistant coaching at Mater Dei High School, where his teams won league titles and placed at the CIF State Championships. Since 2009, he has served as Head Coach for Highline College’s women’s indoor team, earning Western Region Coach of the Year three times. Littleman also owns and directs South End Indoor Volleyball Club and South End Beach Volleyball Club, developing athletes at all levels in the Pacific Northwest.
