Chris Lewis
Head Coach
Chris Lewis has served as the Head Coach of Men’s Lacrosse at Rollins College since the 2015–16 season, becoming the third head coach in program history after a period as interim head coach. Under his leadership, the Tars have achieved unprecedented success, including a program-best 15-2 record in 2023, the first Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Regular Season title, and the program’s first SSC Tournament championship. That season also marked Rollins’ inaugural NCAA postseason appearance, with a South Region top seed and a competitive matchup against Lenoir-Rhyne. Lewis’ guidance has seen numerous individual honors for his players, including multiple All-SSC and All-Region selections, USILA All-American recognitions, and league Coach of the Year honors for himself.
Prior to his time at Rollins, Lewis brought extensive coaching experience from both college and high school levels. A 1988 graduate of SUNY Oswego with a degree in chemistry, he spent four seasons as Head Assistant Coach at Merrimack College, where his defensive units ranked among the nation’s best and helped lead the program to its first Division II Final Four. Earlier in his career, he coached at the high school level in Massachusetts. Throughout his tenure, Lewis has been deeply involved in recruiting, scouting, and game planning, helping elevate Rollins Lacrosse to competitive prominence in the Sunshine State Conference.
