Chris Leverenz is an assistant coach for the Western Washington University women’s volleyball program, contributing to the Vikings’ coaching staff and player development, particularly drawing on her extensive high school and club coaching experience. She has been listed as part of the WWU volleyball coaching staff, working alongside Head Coach Diane Flick‑Williams and other assistants in guiding the team’s competitive efforts in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference and NCAA Division II play. Leverenz’s role supports practices, skill development, and competitive preparation for the Vikings.
Before joining Western’s staff in 2021, Leverenz established a long and successful coaching career at the high school level in Washington state, where she earned induction into the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Coaches Hall of Fame in 2013 and recorded over 500 wins. At Auburn Riverside High School, she led teams to state championships, including a perfect 36‑0 season and back‑to‑back 3A state titles, and spent more than two decades coaching club volleyball and other sports, demonstrating a deep commitment to athlete development and competitive excellence.
