Chris Jones is the Director of Baseball Operations, Director of Women's Soccer Operations, Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and baseball broadcaster at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. He is in his seventh year in that combined role and his ninth year in UConn's athletic communications office, where he serves as the primary media contact for baseball and women's soccer. Jones is also in his 17th season calling UConn baseball games, with more than 800 broadcasts on platforms including MIXLR and ESPN+/UConn+.
Before returning to UConn, Jones worked as a broadcaster for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2015 and for the Connecticut Tigers, the Detroit Tigers' Single-A affiliate, in 2016. A 2014 UConn graduate, he served as sports director at WHUS from 2011 to 2014 and completed an event production internship at ESPN in 2013.
