Chico Rego is the head coach of George Washington University's men's and women's swimming and diving program in Washington, District of Columbia, and is in his second season leading the Colonials in 2025-26 after being hired in June 2024.
In his first year at GW, Rego led both programs to Atlantic 10 Conference championships and was named A-10 Men's Coach of the Year. His swimmers and divers also earned major conference honors, including Connor Rodgers as the A-10 Men's Most Outstanding Performer, Olivia Paquette as the A-10 Women's Most Outstanding Diver, and Shae Stratton as the A-10 Men's Most Outstanding Rookie.
