Chad Walsh has served as an assistant wrestling coach at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, since August 2024. He arrived after two seasons as an assistant coach at Columbia, where he worked mainly with middleweights and was part of a staff that produced 10 NCAA qualifiers, two EIWA champions, and an NCAA All-American while the Lions placed in the top four at the EIWA Tournament in both seasons.
Before Columbia, Walsh spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Davidson and one season on Rider's staff. Davidson's 2021-22 team posted its best season since 2005 and had three wrestlers earn RPI recognition for the first time in program history.
