Head Coach Women's Lacrosse
Cathy Reese is one of the most decorated coaches in collegiate women’s lacrosse. As head coach at the University of Maryland since 2007, she has guided the Terrapins to five national championships, 12 Final Fours, and 22 conference titles over her tenure. Before returning to Maryland as head coach, Reese served as head coach at the University of Denver (2004–2006) and as an assistant coach at Maryland (1999–2004). During her time as both player and coach at Maryland, Reese has been part of 12 NCAA championships. She holds the record as the all-time winningest coach in Maryland women’s lacrosse history. Known for her consistent success, she has earned multiple national and conference Coach of the Year honors, and has coached numerous Tewaaraton Award finalists and All-Americans under her leadership.
