Casey Martin is the head coach of the University of Oregon men’s golf program, entering his 20th season leading the Ducks in 2025–26. A Eugene native and former NCAA champion, Martin has transformed Oregon into a national powerhouse, highlighted by the program’s first NCAA Championship in 2016 and a runner-up finish in 2017. Under his leadership, the Ducks have made 11 NCAA Championship appearances and consistently qualified for NCAA Regionals, building one of the most stable and successful programs on the West Coast. Martin has earned national and conference recognition for his coaching, including Golfweek National Coach of the Year honors and multiple Pac-12 Coach of the Year awards.
Martin has also developed elite talent at Oregon, mentoring players such as Wyndham Clark, the 2023 U.S. Open champion, and PGA Tour winner Aaron Wise. His players have earned numerous individual accolades, including national player of the year honors and All-America selections. Known for instilling confidence and competitiveness, Martin has helped elevate both individual golfers and team performance to the highest levels of collegiate golf. Before coaching, he enjoyed a professional playing career on the PGA Tour and was a standout at Stanford, where he was a two-time All-American and part of a national championship team.
