Carlos Maldonado is an assistant coach for the St. John's men's tennis program in Queens, New York, and joined Dillon Pottish's staff at the start of the 2019-20 academic year.
A Queens native, Maldonado is the founder and CEO of Dead Set Inc., a tennis apparel distributor established in 2013, and of Dead Set Inc. Tennis, where he has coached and trained ATP and WTA professional players since 2009. Through that work, he has scouted and developed prospective professionals and helped players move from the junior ranks to the pro circuit.
