Collier also spent four seasons at Jacksonville, where she worked with Haney under head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin and helped the program win its first Atlantic Sun Championship and reach its first NCAA Tournament. As a player, Collier was a four-year member of the Wake Forest program and earned All-ACC Honor Roll recognition in each season. After graduating, she joined Georgia State as a graduate manager in 2012 before moving into coaching. Before college, she starred at Sidwell Friends, where the All-Star Report ranked her the No. 100 recruit and No. 27 point guard in the nation. She was a two-time All-Independent School League selection and also earned Washington Post Second Team All-Met honors.
