Cade Wilkerson
Assistant Football Coach
Cade Wilkerson is currently in his eleventh season overall on the coaching staff under Head Coach Buddy Stephens at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi, and his fourth season as the Lions’ Offensive Coordinator. In that role, Wilkerson assumed play-calling duties starting in the 2022 season and led the program to consecutive Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC) championships, including an NJCAA national-runner-up finish in 2023. During his first three seasons as offensive coordinator, the program posted a 23-10 overall record and a 14-4 mark in MACCC North Division play, while maintaining national top-five rankings among NJCAA Division I teams in scoring offense, total offense and passing offense.
Wilkerson joined the EMCC staff initially in 2012 as a graduate assistant, and his duties have included recruiting, offensive game-planning, special teams, and program operations. His earlier coaching experience includes a stint as quarterbacks coach at Horn Lake High School (Mississippi) in 2013, and a graduate assistant role at the University of Oklahoma while working on a master’s in intercollegiate athletics administration. Wilkerson earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Mississippi in 2011. He is married to Amanda Hutcheson of Loganville, Georgia, and they have a daughter named Crosby.
