Bryan Brown serves as Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator for University of Mississippi's Football program in University, Mississippi. Brown's defensive backs helped contribute to one of the best all-around defenses in Ole Miss history in 2024, highlighted by transfer Trey Amos, who went on to be a second-round NFL Draft selection of the Washington Commanders. Amos served as Ole Miss’ lockdown corner, starting all 13 games as one of the premier pass defenders in the nation.
Amos finished fifth on the team with 50 tackles and was tied for the team lead with three interceptions, led the team with 13 pass breakups – the most by a Rebel since 2015 – and added 3.5 TFL and one forced fumble. Amos finished the season as the SEC leader in both total passes defended (16) and passes defended per game (1.23), which respectively ranked tied for third and fifth nationally.
