Brooks Monaghan took over the University of Memphis women’s soccer program heading into the 2000 season in hopes of taking it to new heights. Sixteen league championships, 13 NCAA Tournament berths, 19 All-American honorees, 149 All-Conference selections and 329 wins later, he has molded the program into a national brand. Monaghan, who has earned conference Coach of the Year distinctions in 2007, 2011, 2019, 2023 and 2025 and South Region Staff of the Year in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, has the program amid what is perhaps the most successful stretch in school history, coming off a 2025 that was undeniably one of the best in his 26 years at the helm.
