Brooke Kalman became head softball coach at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in July 2025, taking over as the 11th coach in program history. She arrived after three seasons at Gettysburg, where her 2025 team won the Centennial Conference regular-season title and a regional championship, earned the program's highest national ranking at No. 13, set a single-season wins record, and produced the first two All-Americans in school history. Gettysburg went 93-35-1 under her direction, giving her the second-best winning percentage in program history.
Before Gettysburg, Kalman was head coach and Student-Athlete Leadership Program Director at MIT from 2018 to 2022, leading the program to top-25 NFCA rankings and NCAA regional finals while coaching All-Americans. Her previous coaching experience includes head coaching positions at Franklin & Marshall and Ripon, and she began as an assistant at Ursinus. A Gettysburg graduate, she was a four-year letterwinner and team captain who earned a degree in psychology with a minor in writing, then completed a master's degree in counseling at Villanova.
