Brock Keener is an assistant coach for the University of Maryland baseball program in College Park, Maryland. Maryland announced his hiring on Oct. 11, 2024, when head coach Matt Swope added him to the staff.
In his first two seasons with the Terrapins, Keener was part of teams that finished 27-29 in both 2025 and 2026. Maryland recorded wins over ranked opponents in 2025 against No. 12 Wake Forest and No. 15 Oregon, and the offense produced one of the strongest statistical seasons in program history, finishing among the school's top five for home runs, runs, RBI, and walks. The Terrapins also earned the program's 800th win at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium that season, and three players received All-Big Ten recognition, including first-team catcher Alex Calarco.
