Britt Myers is the recruiting coordinator and linebackers coach for Towson University football in Towson, Maryland, a position he has held since the 2023 season. Since joining the staff, he has coached productive linebackers at Towson, including Alfred Thomas, who led the team with 76 tackles and earned All-CAA Honorable Mention in 2025, and John Gioia, who paced the team in tackles per game and also received All-CAA Honorable Mention in 2024. In 2023, Jamal Gay finished second on the team with 74 tackles and was recognized as a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy as well as a CSC Academic All-District selection. Towson linebackers also earned back-to-back CSC Academic All-District honors in 2023 and 2024, with Evan Rutkowski receiving the award in 2024.
Myers returned to head coach Pete Shinnick's staff after two stretches at the University of West Florida. He worked there as a graduate assistant for outside linebackers from 2017 to 2018, then as special teams coordinator and linebackers coach from 2020 to 2022. West Florida reached the NCAA Division II title game in 2017 and advanced to the national semifinal round in 2022, while also sharing Gulf South Conference championships in 2021 and 2022. Over his final two seasons there, five West Florida linebackers received all-conference recognition, and the program ranked fifth nationally in Division II net punting and tenth in kickoff return average in 2022.
