Bridgette Quimpo
Head Coach
Bridgette Quimpo enters the 2026 season in her 13th year as head coach of the Ramapo College softball program and her 23rd season overall in collegiate coaching. Since arriving in Mahwah in 2013, she has built one of the NJAC’s premier programs, compiling 279 wins at Ramapo and 414 career victories. Under her leadership, the Roadrunners have earned six NCAA Tournament appearances, highlighted by a 2017 NCAA Regional Championship and a Super Regional berth. Recent seasons have continued that success, including three straight NCAA Tournament appearances from 2023–25 and multiple 30-win campaigns. Her teams have consistently produced NJAC All-Conference and NFCA All-Region selections while excelling academically, earning numerous NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors and team GPA recognition.
Prior to Ramapo, Quimpo spent 10 seasons as head coach at New Jersey City University, where she became the program’s all-time winningest coach and captured two conference championships. A former standout at the University of South Carolina Aiken, she was a two-time ASA First Team All-American and earned a U.S. Olympic Team tryout. Active nationally as a clinician and speaker, Quimpo has worked alongside Olympic athletes and Division I coaches while mentoring generations of student-athletes. She also serves as Ramapo’s Senior Women’s Administrator and is a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
