Brian McDaid is the Director of Operations for the Villanova University men's soccer program in Villanova, Pennsylvania. He joined the staff in February 2026 after spending three seasons as an assistant coach at The Shipley School in nearby Bryn Mawr.
McDaid played as a defender and midfielder and was a starter at Dublin City University in Ireland, where his team finished third in the Collingwood Cup. Alongside his work at Villanova, he owns BMD Soccer, a private training company that has worked with Division I and professional players, and he also coaches at Sporting PA.
