Brian Eberly
Head Coach
Brian Eberly enters the 2025–26 season as the head baseball coach at Drew University, continuing a tenure marked by steady program growth and record-setting performances. In 2025, he guided the Rangers to 19 wins, tying for the ninth-most victories in program history, while the team broke school records for runs scored (288) and stolen bases (77). Drew also continued its strong presence in the Landmark Conference, producing multiple All-Conference selections and earning widespread academic recognition, including the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award. The 2024 season marked a breakthrough as the Rangers went 22–18 — their best record since 2017 — and returned to the Landmark Conference playoffs. That year, Eberly and his staff were named Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year after orchestrating a seven-win overall improvement and an 11-game jump in conference victories.
Before arriving at Drew, Eberly spent 12 seasons as head coach at the County College of Morris, transforming the Titans into a regional powerhouse. He led CCM to three Garden State Athletic Conference championships and earned multiple Coach of the Year honors, including NJCAA Region 19 Coach of the Year recognition. His 2017 team finished 41–8 and reached as high as No. 4 in the national rankings. Eberly became CCM’s all-time winningest coach and mentored numerous players who advanced to NCAA Division I programs and professional baseball. A former Lock Haven University infielder and team captain, he holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton and brings a strong commitment to both competitive excellence and academic achievement.
