Brian Duncan
Head Men's Lacrosse Coach
Brian Duncan is the inaugural head coach of the men’s lacrosse program at Flagler College, a role he has held since the program’s varsity launch in the spring of 2022. Prior to that, he guided Flagler’s club men’s lacrosse team from 2016-21, laying the groundwork for the transition to NCAA Division II competition. Under Duncan’s leadership, the Saints achieved a program-record 14 wins in 2025 and earned their first national ranking, peaking at No. 6. That year the Saints also secured their first victory over a nationally ranked opponent, defeating the then-No. 16 Florida Southern College 9-8 in overtime.
Before Flagler, Duncan built a distinguished coaching resume: he led the Community College of Baltimore County–Essex lacrosse program to a national title in 2004, coached at the professional level with the Florida Launch, and held collegiate coaching roles at Jacksonville University, The Bolles School, and Florida Tech. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he played as a midfielder for the Retrievers from 1989-1992.
