Brian Burg serves as Assistant Coach for University of Mississippi's Men's Basketball program in University, Mississippi. Brian Burg joined the Ole Miss men’s basketball staff in March of 2023, his third stint with Chris Beard after joining him at both Little Rock and Texas Tech. Burg most recently helped guide Ole Miss to a historic run at the 2026 SEC Tournament, winning three games in three days to reach the semifinal round.
Prior to joining the Rebels, Burg spent three seasons as the head coach at Georgia Southern, where he won 42 games at the helm. Defense was the Eagles' calling card during Burg's tenure.
