Brenden Straughn is an assistant coach for the Boston College men's basketball program in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He joined Boston College after spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Syracuse.
Before Syracuse, Straughn held assistant coaching positions at Loyola Maryland in 2018-19, Saint Joseph's from 2019 to 2022, and George Washington in 2022-23. At Saint Joseph's, his duties included overseeing the offense, on-court coaching, player development, opponent scouting, and recruiting coordination. George Washington finished the 2022-23 season with its highest overall and Atlantic 10 win totals since 2016-17 and led the conference in scoring offense.
