Brendan Wilkins is a track and field assistant coach at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, working with the women's cross country and track and field programs. He joined the staff in 2022-23 and is entering his fifth season with the program. In 2025-26, Quinnipiac won the MAAC cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field championships, giving the Bobcats the first Triple Crown in school history and the league's first since 2002-03. That season also included strong regional performances from Lauren Fadairo and Talia Graham, who finished 71st and 76th in the East, respectively. Graham won the MAAC outdoor pole vault title at 3.96 meters and set a championship record, while Gabby Appiah captured the shot put title in her first appearance at the outdoor meet.
Wilkins has coached several Quinnipiac field event athletes to conference success. Sydney Lavelle placed third in the long jump at the 2025 MAAC Indoor Championships, Graham scored in both the indoor and outdoor pole vault as a first-year athlete and set program records in the event, and Fadairo became the first Bobcat to clear 12.00 meters in the outdoor triple jump. In 2023-24, first-year Shaelyn Murphy won the high jump at the MAAC Indoor Championships, Lavelle finished second in the long jump, and Olivia DeBellis broke the indoor school record in the pole vault. At the 2024 outdoor championships, four Bobcats reached the podium, with two silver and two bronze medal finishes. In his first season at Quinnipiac, Wilkins coached indoor conference champions Olaitan Olagundoye in the high jump and Erin Brennan in the pole vault; Brennan later broke the program's indoor and outdoor pole vault records and was named the 2023 MAAC Indoor Women's Field Rookie of the Meet.
