Brendan McGourn is the head coach of the Northeastern University women's volleyball program in Boston, Massachusetts, a position he assumed after being named to the job on January 31, 2025.
Before joining Northeastern, McGourn spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons at Fairfield as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Fairfield posted a 43-19 overall record in those two years and went 33-3 in conference play, winning back-to-back MAAC championships and earning consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. During his time there, 11 players received all-conference recognition and 19 earned all-academic honors.
