Brandon Hazouri is an assistant coach for Wake Forest track and field and cross country in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and joined the staff in July 2021. Since his arrival, Wake Forest athletes have earned 16 All-ACC honors, with Thomas Vanoppen winning the ACC outdoor title in the 1500 meters. Hazouri has also been part of a stretch in which five Demon Deacons advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships, including Anna Bush, Emma Soderstrom, Zach Facioni, Tony Jones, and Vanoppen. Vanoppen became Wake Forest's first outdoor All-American since 2018 and only the second 1500-meter outdoor All-American in program history.
Hazouri has contributed to sustained success in men's cross country as well. Wake Forest posted three top-10 NCAA Championship finishes during his tenure, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in 2022, and won ACC championships in 2022 and 2025. He has coached five cross country All-Americans at Wake Forest. As the lead recruiting coordinator for men's cross country, he brought in classes ranked No. 7 nationally in 2022, No. 4 in 2023, and No. 3 in 2024.
