Brandon Harmon serves as the associate head coach for Gonzaga University’s baseball program and has been a key member of the staff for over a decade. Entering his 14th season with the Bulldogs in 2026, Harmon has played a central role in the program’s sustained success, particularly in developing one of the top pitching staffs in the West Coast Conference. Since taking over pitching responsibilities, he has helped guide Gonzaga to multiple conference championships and NCAA Regional appearances, including historic seasons in 2021 and 2022 when the program achieved its highest postseason seeding. His pitching staffs have consistently ranked among the nation’s best in key statistical categories, including strikeouts, ERA, and shutouts.
Harmon has been instrumental in developing professional-level talent, with numerous pitchers selected in the MLB Draft, including first-round pick Gabriel Hughes. Several of his former players have advanced to Major League Baseball, reflecting his impact on player development and preparation. A Gonzaga alumnus and former pitcher, Harmon remains deeply connected to the program’s tradition and success. Before rising to associate head coach in 2022, he contributed in multiple roles, including working with position players and assisting with game strategy. His earlier coaching experience includes time at Whitworth University and with elite-level summer teams. Known for his technical expertise and player-focused approach, Harmon continues to shape Gonzaga’s pitching excellence and overall program growth.
