Bradford Hancock
Associate Head Swimming Coach
Bradford Hancock was announced in July 2025 as the Associate Head Coach for the Queens University of Charlotte swimming and diving programs. A Queens alumnus and decorated NCAA Division II competitor, he returns to his alma mater to help lead the Royals in their inaugural Division I seasons. Under his leadership, he will support training, recruiting, program development, and athlete performance. Prior to this appointment, Hancock served as Head Coach of Coronado Swim Team Elite in Southern California, where he oversaw program restructuring and guided athletes to elite international competitions like the USA Swimming Junior Nationals, Pan American Games, and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Before his tenure in California, Hancock spent four years with the New Wave Swim Team in Raleigh, North Carolina. There, he helped elevate the program to a top-five national age-group ranking and was named an ASCA Top 50 Age Group Coach of the Year in 2021. In his own collegiate swimming career at Queens (2014–2018), Hancock was part of four straight NCAA Division II national championship teams, earned Division II All-American honors in 2016–17 and 2017–18, and was a CSCAA Scholar All-American and Bluegrass Mountain Conference All-Conference selection. He also distinguished himself academically as a Presidential Scholar and NCAA Scholastic All-American. His return to Charlotte is framed as a homecoming during a pivotal moment in the program’s evolution.
