Bonnie Rosen is the head coach of women's lacrosse at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed her 20th season leading the program in 2026. A longtime Division I coach and former U.S. national team defender, Rosen has overseen Temple's return to conference and national relevance while also maintaining a strong academic record within the program. She entered the 2026 season as a member of both the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame and the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame, and she ranked among the winningest active coaches in Division I women's lacrosse, with 225 career victories at the end of the 2024 season.
Temple went 12-4 overall in 2026 and 3-3 in American Athletic Conference play before reaching the conference tournament semifinals. The team opened the season 8-0, its best start since 1988, and earned a notable win over No. 17 Penn. Six players received all-conference recognition, Riley Horoshko was named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, and several Owls added regional and national honors. The 2025 season was more difficult, as Temple finished 4-12 overall and 2-4 in conference play, though three players still earned second-team all-conference honors. In 2024, Rosen guided the Owls back to the American tournament with a 9-7 record and a 4-2 conference mark. That team produced six all-conference selections, the league's Defensive Player of the Year in Katie Shallow, and a third straight Midfielder of the Year award for Belle Mastropietro, who also was named Temple Female Athlete of the Year. Temple finished 7-9 in 2023, with Mastropietro again earning major conference and regional recognition, and posted an 11-6 record in 2022 while finishing second in the American at 4-1. That 2022 season included Rosen's 200th career win and Temple's 500th program victory, making the Owls one of only six Division I women's lacrosse programs to reach that milestone at the time.
