Bojan Jankovic
Assistant Head Coach
Bojan Jankovic is the Assistant Head Coach for the University of South Florida women’s basketball program, joining the Bulls in May 2024. Bringing more than 25 years of combined collegiate, professional, and international coaching experience, Jankovic adds a global perspective and a proven developmental track record to the South Florida staff. Known for his work with post players and his success recruiting and developing international talent, he has contributed to winning programs across multiple conferences and competitive levels.
Jankovic’s collegiate coaching career in the United States includes stops at the University of the Ozarks, Centenary College of Louisiana, Oral Roberts, Wyoming, Louisiana Tech, and Ole Miss. At Ole Miss, he helped guide the Rebels to two NCAA Tournament appearances and a Sweet 16 berth, while mentoring a frontcourt that set a single-season program record for blocked shots. Earlier, during his tenure at Wyoming, the Cowgirls reached the WNIT three times, including an Elite Eight appearance, with rosters featuring strong international representation. His coaching résumé also includes a Southland Conference championship at Oral Roberts and multiple postseason appearances across WNIT and NCAA competitions.
Internationally, Jankovic served as an assistant coach with the Serbian Women’s Senior National Team from 2013 to 2017, helping Serbia capture gold at the 2015 FIBA Women’s EuroBasket and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He later served as head coach of Serbia’s U20 women’s national team. A native of Belgrade, Serbia, Jankovic also brings professional coaching experience from Europe and a background as a championship-winning collegiate player. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education and resides in Tampa with his wife, Bojana, and their two children.
