Bill Ferrara
Associate Head Coach
Bill Ferrara joined the Florida State women’s basketball program as Associate Head Coach ahead of the 2022–23 season. Florida State University+1 He has been charged with implementing and running a fast-paced offensive system under Head Coach Brooke Wyckoff. Under his guidance, the Seminoles have seen considerable offensive success, including leading the nation in scoring (86.9 points per game) in 2024–25, breaking multiple program records for three-point field goals, and consistently ranking among the top offenses in the ACC. Prior to FSU, Ferrara built a substantial coaching resume across several programs. He has held coaching positions at Central Michigan, Hofstra, George Washington, Florida, New Mexico, and St. John’s, serving in roles ranging from assistant coach to associate head coach. At New Mexico, he was instrumental in guiding the Lobos to multiple 20-win seasons and a regular-season Mountain West championship. Ferrara is originally from Brooklyn, New York, and earned a B.S. in Business Management (2003) and an M.S. in Exercise & Sport Science (2005), both from the University of Florida.
