Ben DeLuca is the head coach of the University of Delaware men's lacrosse program in Newark, Delaware, a position he took in 2017 before coaching his first season in 2018. He is the ninth head coach in the program's history and arrived at Delaware after building a Division I resume as a player, assistant coach, associate head coach, and head coach at Cornell, Duke, and Harvard.
At Delaware, DeLuca has overseen one of the strongest sustained stretches in the program's recent history. In his first six full seasons, the Blue Hens posted four double-digit win seasons, and from 2018 through 2024 they reached the CAA Tournament every year. From 2018 through 2025, Delaware recorded seven straight winning seasons. His teams have produced 46 all-conference selections, seven conference major award winners, 10 USILA All-Americans, and six USILA Scholar All-America honorees. The program also set team records for semester, yearly, and cumulative grade-point average under his tenure.
