Austin Davis serves as Assistant Head Coach
(Offensive Coordinator) for Mercer University's Football program in Macon, Georgia.
A seven-year coaching veteran with previous stops at four other collegiate institutions, Austin Davis begins his first year at Mercer in 2026-27, as well as his third alongside head coach Joel Taylor, as the offensive coordinator for the Bears. Davis joined the coaching staff in Macon in December 2025 after spending the previous two seasons at West Georgia. West Georgia thrived with Davis as offensive coordinator in 2025, averaging better than 355 yards and 25.5 points per game on the way to doubling its win total from the 2024 campaign.
