Asima Mulalic
Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach
Asima Mulalic begins her second season on the volleyball coaching staff at Flagler College and her first year as a full-time assistant coach. She joined the program in 2024 and during that season contributed to a 15-11 overall record and a 5-3 mark in the Peach Belt Conference. The Saints won the conference tournament and progressed to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional under her assistance. In addition to her collegiate role, Mulalic coached the Team Florida Indoors All-Stars for USA Volleyball, leading a national boys’ travel program and managing all aspects of preparation and competition. She also has experience coaching 15U and 17U squads with the Jacksonville Junior Volleyball Association. Before transitioning to college coaching, Mulalic served as head volleyball coach at Creekside High School in St. Johns, Florida, following a stint as assistant and junior varsity coach there.
Academically, she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Florida in 2023. Mulalic earned volleyball scholarships at Saint Leo University and Santa Fe College during her playing career. At Flagler, Mulalic works on practice and game planning, drill design, recruiting outreach, and helping build relationships with high-school coaches and potential student-athletes. Her experience with youth and club volleyball adds a valuable perspective to player development, while her recent scholarship-level playing background enables empathy and relatability to the student-athletes she coaches.
