Ashley Veach
Assistant Coach
Ashley Veach joined the UAB volleyball coaching staff in January 2021 and enters her fifth season with the program in 2025. During her tenure, she has helped guide the Blazers to multiple double-digit win seasons, including an 12-win campaign in 2022, and has contributed to the development of eight All-Conference performers across Conference USA and the American Athletic Conference. Veach plays an integral role in player development, scouting, and recruiting, supporting the program’s continued competitive growth.
Prior to UAB, Veach served as an assistant coach at Lander University in 2019, where the Bearcats finished 20-10, marking the program’s fifth 20-win season in six years. She previously spent four seasons at Birmingham-Southern College, helping the Panthers achieve three consecutive 20-win seasons and secure the program’s first NCAA Tournament victory in 2015. A former four-year letterwinner at Ole Miss, Veach competed in 369 sets and earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition three times. A native of Alpharetta, Georgia, she was the 2008 Georgia 5A Player of the Year at Northview High School and helped lead her team to three state championships. Veach’s blend of high-level playing and coaching experience continues to strengthen UAB’s volleyball program.
