Ashley Sease
Assistant Coach
Ashley (Sloup) Sease joined Florida Women’s Golf in June 2024 and enters her second season with the Gators in 2024–25. In her first year on staff, Florida’s youthful lineup surged, winning five tournaments, finishing runner-up at the SEC Championship, tying for third at NCAA Regionals, and returning to the NCAA National Championships for the first time since 2019. The season also featured freshman Jessica Guiser’s victory at the Gators Invitational, becoming just the second UF freshman to win the event, while redshirt-freshman Addison Klonowski posted the program’s best NCAA finish by a freshman since 2005.
Sease arrived in Gainesville after four seasons at Campbell, where she served as assistant coach on the men’s side before adding women’s duties in 2022–23 and being promoted to Associate Head Coach for 2023–24. Her work helped extend Campbell’s championship pedigree, including the program’s seventh-straight conference title and 11th-straight NCAA postseason appearance on the women’s side, while mentoring all-conference performers and league award winners. Before Campbell, she was an assistant at Furman, coaching the nation’s No. 1-ranked player during her tenure, and began her college coaching career at Northwood University. As a player, Sease starred at Winthrop, earning three All-Big South selections and contributing to four team titles. At Florida, she continues to be recognized for her player-first approach, on-course preparation, and recruiting—key pieces in the Gators’ rapid return to national relevance.
