Antonio Foster is an experienced assistant coach for the Bellevue College men’s basketball program, bringing over a decade of coaching experience within the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). Entering his twelfth season as an assistant coach, Foster joined Bellevue after spending two seasons at Shoreline Community College. During his time at Shoreline, he helped guide the team to a Northern Region Championship in 2017, earning the program the number one seed in the NWAC Championships. At Bellevue, Foster plays a vital role in game planning, recruiting, player development, and supporting the overall operations of the program. He has been part of a highly successful coaching staff, contributing to Bellevue’s NWAC Championship in 2023 and a runner-up finish in 2022.
Foster’s basketball background includes both playing and coaching at multiple levels. He played high school basketball at West Seattle High School before continuing his collegiate career at South Puget Sound Community College and Shoreline. After two seasons in the NWAC, he advanced to Algoma University in Canada to continue his playing career. In addition to his collegiate coaching responsibilities, Foster is actively involved in the development of young athletes through coaching AAU club basketball during the spring and summer. His commitment to the sport and passion for mentorship reflect his dedication to sustaining Bellevue College’s strong basketball tradition.
