Anthony Winchester serves as Assistant Coach for Troy University's Men's Basketball program in Troy, Alabama. Winchester most recently spent four seasons at Kansas State, including three as an assistant coach after beginning his tenure as the program’s Director of Video Operations. Part of 61 wins during his time with the Wildcats, Winchester helped guide Kansas State to back-to-back postseason appearances (2023 NCAA Tournament, 2024 NIT), highlighted by a run to the 2023 Elite Eight.
Kansas State recorded 16 wins over AP Top 25 opponents during that stretch, including seven against Top 10 teams. During the 2022-23 season, Winchester played a key role in one of the nation’s top turnarounds, as the Wildcats won 26 games and advanced to the Elite Eight after being picked last in the Big 12 preseason poll. He helped develop All-Americans Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson, who became the first duo in program history to earn Associated Press honors, both being named Third Team selections.
