Anthony Sobotker is an assistant wrestling coach at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, and began his first season with the program after joining the staff in December 2024.
Sobotker came to Hofstra from Binghamton University, where he both competed and coached. He joined Binghamton's coaching staff in 2023 after earning a degree in human development. On the mat, he wrestled for the Bearcats from 2020 to 2023, placing seventh at 133 pounds at the 2021 EIWA Championships. In the following season, he also took seventh at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and recorded 11 falls among his 15 victories.
