Anthony Gaitor is back with the Panthers for his third season coaching the cornerbacks and his fourth overall in the program. In year three with the program, Gaitor's unit had one First Team All-Conference USA selection, cornerback Mister Clark who's 1.33 passes defended per game, fourth-most in the nation and tops in CUSA. Gaitor was also instrumental in Brian Blades II who ended his FIU career with 103 total tackles (24 solo/two assisted), three tackles for loss, one interception and two forced fumbles.
