Anthony Bruno is the head coach of Towson University's men's and women's swimming and diving program in Towson, Maryland, and enters his fifth season leading the Tigers in 2026-27. He took over before the 2022-23 season and has overseen notable progress on both the men's and women's sides, including conference honors, school-record performances, NCAA qualifiers, and All-America results.
In 2025-26, Bruno was named CAA Men's Swimming Coach of the Year after Towson's men finished second at the conference championships and the women placed third. Towson collected 22 medals at the meet, set six program records, and saw Shannon Parrau and Sam Tennell earn the league's women's and men's diver of the year awards in the same season. Jed Garner also broke the Towson and CAA record in the 200 breaststroke and qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke events.
