AnnMarie Gilbert
Assistant Coach
AnnMarie Gilbert, a veteran with 30 years of collegiate coaching experience, joins the UCF women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach. She most recently spent three seasons as associate head coach at Winthrop, where she helped the program improve from 8 wins to 16 in just one season.
Before Winthrop, Gilbert held head coaching positions at Detroit, Virginia Union, and Eastern Michigan, achieving conference titles, NCAA appearances, and national recognition. She has also served as an assistant at Michigan State, contributing to a Big Ten title and a National Championship runner-up finish. A graduate of Oberlin College with a master’s from Cleveland State, Gilbert was inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
