Annemarie Chin
Assistant Volleyball Coach
Annemarie Chin joins the Colorado Mesa University volleyball program in 2025 as an assistant coach, marking her first season in Grand Junction, Colorado. She arrives after working with Head Coach Austin Albers at Colorado State University Pueblo in 2024, where she served as the interim head coach for the ThunderWolves women’s program following Albers’ departure. Prior to that, Chin spent five seasons at Earlham College (2019–2023) as an assistant coach and also held the position of chief branding officer for the athletics department, helping lead the program to a conference title in 2021.
Chin began her coaching career at the high school level in Florida, serving as an assistant at Leon High School in Tallahassee from 2016 to 2018. During her time there, the Lions made state Final Four appearances in 2016 and 2018 and finished as state runner-up in 2017. As a collegiate athlete, she was a four-year starter at libero at High Point University in North Carolina (2012–2015), earning First-Team All-Big South honors as a senior after setting school single-season and career records for digs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and digital imaging, earned in 2016.
