Angela D’Amelio serves as an assistant coach for the Bellevue College volleyball program and is entering her fifteenth season with the Bulldogs. A key member of the coaching staff, she has worked alongside head coach Jocelyn Lawrence for the entirety of Lawrence’s tenure, helping establish one of the most consistent and successful coaching partnerships in the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). D’Amelio has contributed to the program’s sustained excellence, supporting player development, training, and competitive preparation as Bellevue has achieved multiple top finishes and regional titles.
D’Amelio’s background as a player and coach has shaped her approach to mentoring student-athletes. She played collegiately at Edmonds Community College from 2007 to 2009, where she helped lead her team to two NWAC Championship tournament appearances, including a third-place finish in 2008. As a sophomore, she served as team captain and earned Second Team All-Northern Region honors. Originally from Kirkland, Washington, she attended Juanita High School before continuing her volleyball career at the collegiate level. In addition to her work at Bellevue, D’Amelio coaches at Villa Academy in Seattle and serves as the program coordinator for the college’s athletics department. She resides in Lynnwood with her daughter, Mia.
